This 40’ double-sheathed wood reefer with vertical brake wheel is black with yellow sides and runs on Arch bar trucks. Built in 1918 for Florida East Coast Railway, this design was state-of-the-art for the time, and included automatic knuckle couplers, a metal underframe and roof, automatic air brakes, insulation, and U.S. safety appliances.
